Honda Europe asked us to develop an online robotic lawnmower simulator, to help potential customers understand how Miimo would work in their own garden, and thus increase consideration and conversion.
In order to do this, we lifted the hood on the Honda Miimo robotic mower, studied its operating rules, and translated them into algorithms that simulated the product’s behaviour in an online visualisation — and against the user’s own garden space. We used the Google Maps API to enable people to find their own garden, and get a tangible sense of how Miimo might go about taking care of their lawn for real.
The simulator was localised into 19 languages, and be warned: the whole thing has some seriously hypnotic power! Just like the Miimo itself…

Online campaigns
We’ve worked on over 2,000 digital campaigns, for brands such as Meta, Virgin Media and Lipton’s Ice Tea, and with an even wider array of agencies, from VCCP Health, adam&eveDDB to BBH London. And we’ve survived the shift from Flash to HTML5 along the way. So you’ll forgive us if we consider ourselves 10th-dan black belts in the way of the banner.
